Oink

The first product to come from Kevin Rose and his new venture Milk, is the clever social check in app for your iPhone called Oink.  What puts this application a step above the foursquare and facbook check in crowd is Oink’s ability to rate content within places you have checked into.  When you check into a new restaurant you have the ability to rate food based on your experience.  That experience gets shared on social networks and builds the overall functionality of the application by providing your ranking to others using the app.  As you check in and rate, you rank up in leaderboards and are provided other perks along the way.  All of this is available as a free app for your iPhone.

It will be very interesting to see how Oink changes the game of check in apps by adding real usable functionality.  Let us know what you think about the app below.
